Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing processes and systems that enhance production efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design reactor systems and separation processes.
• Develop safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Perform feasibility studies on new projects.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team on product specifications.
• Conduct failure analysis to improve operational reliability.
• Assist in the scaling up of production processes.
• Enhance existing processes for better yield and efficiency.
• Engage with the R&D team for innovative development.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing staff.
• Document all processes and design changes effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related domain
• MBA or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in chemical engineering or process engineering
