Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Woods Rider to join our outdoor activities team. This role involves riding designated trails to ensure safety and upkeep, as well as providing excellent service to our visitors. If you are passionate about the outdoors and have experience in trail maintenance, we want you!

Responsibilities

• Lead trail rides and ensure the safety of participants.
• Inspect trails and report conditions to management.
• Assist in developing and maintaining new trails.
• Educate visitors on trail etiquette and safety.
• Provide first aid in case of emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Coordinate with volunteers for trail maintenance activities.
• Promote sustainable practices among visitors.
• Help manage and maintain outdoor equipment.
• Encourage a love for the outdoors among all visitors.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in trail building and maintenance is preferred

Experience

• Experience leading outdoor activities is a plus

Technical Skills

• GPS and mapping software knowledge
• Knowledge of trail maintenance tools

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Basic life support certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid and CPR certification: Certification showing proficiency in first aid and emergency response.
• Experience with event planning and management: Skills in coordinating outdoor events and managing logistics.
