Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical design, implementation, and troubleshooting. You will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from renewable energy systems to industrial automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics and models using CAD software.
• Evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend improvements.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to find integrated solutions.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors for materials and services.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality assurance within the team.
• Mentor and train junior staff on best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional registration with ECSA preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
