Job Description

Join us as a Veterinary Nurse in Johannesburg, where you will play a key role in animal health care. Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians in diagnosis and treatment of diverse cases.
  • Monitor anesthesia and recovery of surgical patients.
  • Conduct physical exams and document findings accurately.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations when necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance of medical records and patient files.
  • Implement clinic policies on hygiene, safety, and animal welfare.
  • Engage in client education regarding preventive care and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating follow-up care and appointments.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
Experience
  • Experience in emergency and critical care is advantageous
