Security Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to fortify our IT infrastructure against potential threats. You will monitor security breaches, analyze vulnerabilities, and provide guidance on best security practices. The position demands a thorough understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures for IT systems.
• Assess and manage vulnerabilities and threats.
• Respond to security incidents and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk analysis.
• Assist in compliance audits and maintain requisite documentation.
• Work with third-party vendors to secure external services.
• Analyze security reports and recommend improvements.
• Implement network security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Provide oversight for data integrity and protection.
• Represent the security team in cross-departmental meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or similar field
• Master's degree is a bonus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant cybersecurity roles
