Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Fleet Coordinator to oversee our fleet operations in Pretoria. The role includes managing vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing fleet performance. The right candidate should possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer fleet policies and ensure all staff are trained accordingly.
• Conduct research to recommend vehicle procurement options.
• Manage telematics systems for vehicle tracking and monitoring.
• Supervise the use of fleet software for efficiency.
• Collaborate with the HR department for driver recruitment and training.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for fleet efficiency.
• Drive initiatives for sustainability within fleet operations.
• Evaluate vehicle performance and lifecycle costs for efficiency.
• Resolve issues with vehicle breakdowns and maintenance delays.
• Consult with other departments to align fleet operation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Business Administration or related field
• Additional certifications in Fleet Logistics are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
