Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients including medical history and physical exams.
• Construct tailored rehabilitation programs aligned with patients' specific needs.
• Implement hands-on techniques to improve mobility and ease discomfort.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages patient participation in their recovery journey.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary modifications.
• Provide accurate reports on patient progress to supervisory staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development and learning.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships through consistent communication.
• Participate in clinical supervision, peer review, and case discussions within the team.
• Encourage compliance with treatment regimens through motivational support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or relevant field
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in rehabilitation
