General Practitioner

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated General Practitioner to join our practice in Cape Town. You’ll provide integrated healthcare services, work collaboratively with a team of professionals, and ensure patient satisfaction at every level.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient caseloads and follow-up on treatment plans.
• Work with nursing and administrative staff to optimize patient flow.
• Attend professional development workshops and seminars.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a primary care setting

Technical Skills

• Diagnostics
• Treatment planning

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Cultural competence

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of occupational health: Experience in providing occupational health services and assessments.
• Fluency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an asset.
