We are in search of a talented Aerospace Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing, testing, and implementing advanced aerospace systems, contributing to cutting-edge projects that shape the future of aviation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of aerospace projects from concept to production.
• Utilize CAD software for modeling and simulation.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
• Innovate sustainable practices in aerospace engineering.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in the aerospace industry with experience in design and analysis

Technical Skills

• CATIA
• ANSYS

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with regulatory standards: Understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards is a plus.
• Experience with composite materials: Knowledge of materials science, specifically in composite materials used in aviation.
