Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with our healthcare team to manage patient treatment plans, perform assessments, and ensure that the highest standards of care are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer treatments and medications in accordance with protocols.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and personal information.
• Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
• Support nursing students and new staff in their development.
• Participate in the evaluation of care quality and improve procedures.
• Engage in bereavement support and emotional care for families.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BNurs)
• Additional training in specialized nursing fields is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in general nursing or specialized areas

• Medication Administration

Certifications

• Certification in Pediatric Nursing

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational
