Job Description

As an Allied Health Professional (Physiotherapist) in Cape Town, you will deliver high-quality treatment to patients, addressing their individual needs and supporting their recovery journey. Collaborate with our medical staff to provide the best care possible.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' mobility, function, and strength to develop suitable treatment plans.
  • Implement physiotherapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Assess treatment outcomes objectively and adjust approaches as needed.
  • Mentor junior staff and share knowledge during team meetings.
  • Involve patients actively in their rehabilitation process for better outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively on rehabilitation programmes with other health professionals.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy.
  • Administer longitudinal assessments and follow-ups.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
  • Conduct educational workshops for the community on preventive care.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy
