Join our dedicated healthcare team as a General Practitioner. Your responsibilities will include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and collaborating with specialists to ensure the best care possible.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care effectively within a busy environment.
• Assess and document patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Facilitate referrals to community health resources.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Additional certification in family medicine or internal medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Clinical Procedures
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.: Ability to communicate in both languages is a plus.
• Fellowship training in family medicine.: Specialized training in family medicine is considered an asset.
