Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated QA Specialist to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies, both manual and automated.

Responsibilities

  • Design test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand software requirements and to assess risks.
  • Execute tests, analyze results, and report on test progress and issues.
  • Investigate root causes of defects and work with team members to recommend fixes.
  • Mentor junior QA team members on best practices and techniques.
  • Track and manage the quality of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure testing environments are properly maintained and available.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • Advanced testing certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a QA role, preferably in a software development environment
