Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Pharmacist to become part of our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on their use, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. You will play a vital role in patient care, contributing to their overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication therapy to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Provide support to healthcare teams regarding medication knowledge.
• Manage pharmacy operations and lead quality assurance practices.
• Network with community organizations to promote health services.
• Conduct medication reviews and therapy adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
