Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance tasks and ensure equipment reliability in our Germiston facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and maintenance schedules to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Document maintenance work, including completed tasks and parts used.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on complex projects.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
• Identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality.
• Interact with suppliers for parts procurement.
• Participate in scheduled safety meetings.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and tools.
• Adhere to all company policies and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

Education

• N4 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or a similar role
