We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance tasks and ensure equipment reliability in our Germiston facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and maintenance schedules to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs.
Document maintenance work, including completed tasks and parts used.
Collaborate with the maintenance team on complex projects.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.
Identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality.
Interact with suppliers for parts procurement.
Participate in scheduled safety meetings.
Monitor inventory of supplies and tools.
Adhere to all company policies and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
Education
N4 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience
3+ years of experience in maintenance or a similar role
