The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health standards within our healthcare facilities. This role requires detailed knowledge of compliance regulations and the implementation of safety protocols to safeguard both employees and patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety training sessions for staff.
• Review incident reports and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and accessible.
• Promote health and wellness initiatives within the organization.
• Assist management in ensuring compliance with national legislation.
• Engage employees in safety discussions and programs.
• Prepare for and respond to health and safety audits.
• Coordinate with external agencies for safety assessments.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations.
• Implement safety improvement strategies based on findings.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Safety Management, Public Health, or related field

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a health and safety role in the healthcare sector

Technical Skills

• Safety Auditing

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification
