Plant Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Plant Operations Manager to oversee our factory's operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will lead a team focused on achieving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and improving productivity within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all plant operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
• Conduct employee training programs on safety and operational procedures.
• Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics for operational success.
• Engage with external auditors during inspections and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in plant operations management
