We are seeking a results-driven Plant Operations Manager to oversee our factory's operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will lead a team focused on achieving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and improving productivity within the plant.

• Ensure all plant operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
• Conduct employee training programs on safety and operational procedures.
• Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics for operational success.
• Engage with external auditors during inspections and compliance checks.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Operations Management Extensive experience in managing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Lean Manufacturing Proficient in implementing Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Safety Compliance Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within manufacturing.
• Leadership Proven ability to lead and motivate teams towards common goals.
• Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders.
• Six Sigma Certification
• PMI Certification (Project Management Institute)
• English (Fluent)
• Afrikaans (Conversational)
