Billing and Posting Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Billing and Posting Clerk to efficiently manage incoming and outgoing items at our warehouse. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and capable of handling various administrative tasks, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process incoming items efficiently.
• Ensure all shipments are accurately packed and labelled.
• Handle machinery including forklifts for item transport.
• Regularly audit and update inventory records.
• Work alongside sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and rectify any inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and machinery.
• Assist with training new staff in warehouse procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification in logistics or supply chain management

Experience

• Proven track record of accurately processing and shipping items

Technical Skills

• Inventory control systems
• Data entry

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure

Certifications

• Training in warehouse management

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of import/export compliance: Understanding of compliance regulations in logistics.
