Job Description

We are seeking a Nuclear Monitoring Technician to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring radiation levels, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing training on radiation safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead training initiatives for staff on proper handling of radioactive materials.
  • Prepare documentation and records for regulatory inspections.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of protective equipment by all personnel.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep updated on safety regulations and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in health physics or radiation protection
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a nuclear power plant
