Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Oversee the manufacturing process of mechanical components.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues in current designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality assurance.
• Participate in cross-disciplinary teams to drive projects forward.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

Certifications
