Kier Operator

Job Description

As a Kier Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of kier equipment, essential for processing chemicals in textile manufacturing. You will ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect kier equipment and perform necessary adjustments.
• Document all production activities and maintain logs diligently.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Provide team support and communicate effectively with peers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory management of materials used in processing.
• Participate in safety training sessions and workshops.
• Monitor quality of the output and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Relevant technical training preferred

Experience

• Experience in the textile industry is preferred.

• Experience with Manufacturing Equipment

Languages

• English: Fluent
