We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment in Cape Town. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, managing staff, and maintaining the quality of food and beverages. Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensure operational standards are met consistently across all shifts.
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage reservations and ensure efficient table turnover.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with chefs to develop seasonal menus and special promotions.
  • Manage payroll and staff schedules to align with business needs.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and vendors for quality products.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Certificate in Wine & Beverage Management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry
