Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluations.
• Plan and coordinate patient care across all stages of treatment.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Implement infection control measures in compliance with protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Support nursing students and assist in training new staff.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and prioritize care.
• Manage wound care and provide post-operative care.
• Facilitate discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Registered Nurse licensure in South Africa

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

Certifications

• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
