Job Description

We are searching for a creative Architect to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to develop innovative designs and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will be tasked with analyzing project requirements and using your architectural expertise to create efficient designs that meet both aesthetic and functional criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for architectural projects from concept through to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess design implications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Ensure quality control on all design aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate client meetings to present design concepts and make adjustments based on feedback.
• Research and apply modern architectural techniques and technologies.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Document and oversee compliance with building codes and zoning regulations.
• Mentor junior architects and interns within the firm.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Design is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural projects

• Building Regulations Knowledge
• Design Software Proficiency

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
