Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Pharmacy Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, engaging with customers to provide professional pharmaceutical care, and contributing to community health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' medication therapies for effectiveness.
• Compile and review reports related to dispensing and patient outcomes.
• Engage with patients to enhance their understanding of their medications.
• Use technology and software efficiently for pharmacy management.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Collaborate with insurance providers regarding medication coverage plans.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research and contribute to new pharmaceutical services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy with honors
• Specialization in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacotherapy preferred

Experience

• 3 years of pharmacy practice or clinical experience

• Patient consultation

Certifications

• SAPC Registration and Good Standing
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sotho: Basic
