Job Description

As a Hotel Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Johannesburg, ensuring that guests receive top-notch service. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, manage budgets, and maintain hotel standards to deliver an unforgettable experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations and ensure compliance with all policies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Oversee financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
  • Develop and maintain promotional activities to attract guests.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through personalized service and communication.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure the hotel meets all regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to improve staff performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships for timely service and supplies.
  • Report to senior management on operational performance and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry
