Job Description

As an Architect in our dynamic team, you will develop innovative and functional designs for a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and public spaces. The role will involve not only the design but also the critical evaluation of architectural elements, ensuring they complement environmental sustainability. We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, creative, and has the drive to turn concepts into reality, while meeting project deadlines and delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of architectural design projects, from initial concept to final construction.
• Develop project timelines and deliverables that meet client expectations.
• Utilize architectural design software and tools to create accurate models and designs.
• Foster team collaboration throughout the design and construction process, promoting a culture of innovation.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in architectural design with a strong portfolio

• BIM Software

Certifications

• Professional Architect License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local codes and regulations: Understanding of zoning laws and building codes relevant to the Cape Town area.
