Job Description

The Hosiery Knitter will be responsible for operating knitting machines to produce hosiery products, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Run knitting machines, checking performance and quality of output.
• Calibrate machines for different types of hosiery, ensuring precision.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during knitting.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products and take corrective action when necessary.
• Document production quantities and machine settings for future reference.
• Assist in the training of new employees, sharing knowledge on machine operation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in hosiery production is advantageous
