As a Business Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by providing guidance and support regarding labor relations and employee relations. The ideal candidate is a proactive negotiator with experience in managing relationships between staff and management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Guide management on labor relations policies and practices.
  • Negotiate effectively with relevant stakeholders to achieve fair agreements.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in labor laws and ensure compliance.
  • Implement new procedures that enhance employee relations.
  • Investigate disputes and work towards amicable resolutions.
  • Facilitate collective bargaining discussions to ensure company interests.
  • Train HR and management on effective labor relations strategies.
  • Document all processes and outcomes of labor relations activities.
  • Engage in strategic HR planning for improved workforce relations.
  • Drive initiatives that foster positive employee engagement and morale.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations is advantageous
  • Labour Law Knowledge Extensive knowledge of South African labor laws.
  • Negotiation Skills Proficient in leading negotiations and resolving disputes.
  • Conflict Resolution Capable of managing and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking Strong analytical abilities to assess situations.
  • Team Collaboration Experience in working collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • CCMA Certification in Mediation
  • English (Fluent)

  • Postgraduate Degree or MBA: Advanced degrees in related fields are highly regarded.
