Production Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a capable Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in production management and a track record of improving efficiency, quality, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are achieved.
• Develop training programs for production staff to enhance skills.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Enforce industry-standard safety procedures and measures.
• Manage production budgets and forecast expenditures.
• Coordinate with R&D for new product introductions.
• Prepare and manage production budgets.
• Attend management meetings to report on production performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or related field
• MBA is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting

• Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
