Job Description

We're hiring a Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Durban. This role involves providing top-notch patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimum treatment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping others and a strong understanding of nursing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient health status and intervene accordingly.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient post-surgery.
  • Educate patients on post-discharge care and medications.
  • Assist in emergency procedures and trauma cases.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists and surgeons.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
  • Engage in community health outreach programs.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families.
  • Document all care activity in compliance with standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Additional certifications in specialized nursing fields are a plus
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a relevant specialty area
