Site Supervisor

Job Description

As a Site Supervisor at Construction Solutions Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in managing construction sites in Durban. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for coordinating teams, liaising with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly site meetings to discuss progress and plan upcoming activities.
• Ensure all workers are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Review architectural plans and specifications to inform site operations.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct safety drills.
• Manage sub-contracts effectively, ensuring work meets project specifications.
• Cultivate a positive team atmosphere, promoting teamwork and high morale.
• Maintain clear communication with all site personnel regarding changes and updates.
• Conduct performance reviews for site staff and recommend training needs.
• Ensure materials used meet construction and environmental standards.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Building or Construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of site supervision experience in construction
