Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a Pharmacist who is passionate about patient care and has a strong background in managing prescriptions and providing drug information. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and patients to ensure safe medication practices, verify prescriptions, and enhance the overall patient experience within the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately in compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients regarding their medications.
• Monitor patient health and progress to determine the effectiveness of therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and interpret therapeutic plans.
• Conduct medication reviews and evaluations to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions.
• Stay updated on new drugs, therapeutic guidelines, and industry regulations.
• Provide support and training to pharmacy staff.
• Handle inquiries and complaints from patients regarding medication.
• Promote health and wellness programs within the community.

Advantageous

• Experience with clinical pharmacy.: Background in clinical pharmacy practices preferred.
