Responsibilities

• Support clients in navigating social services and benefits.
• Lead community initiatives aimed at improving social well-being.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate service effectiveness.
• Engage in advocacy efforts to promote social justice.
• Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.
• Write comprehensive reports and maintain client case files.
• Facilitate support groups for clients dealing with similar issues.
• Collaborate with schools, health services, and legal entities to support clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work or related field

• Counseling
• Crisis Intervention

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous
