Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Community Outreach Specialist to spearhead our community engagement initiatives in Cape Town. This role will involve managing our social media presence, building relationships within the community, and promoting our programs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design outreach programs that resonate with community needs.
• Cultivate partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
• Monitor trends in community engagement and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Integrate community feedback into program development.
• Train team members on effective outreach strategies.
• Ensure adherence to budgets and timelines for outreach initiatives.
• Document and share best practices with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in outreach, marketing, or public relations
