As an Environmental Consultant in our Port Elizabeth office, you will lead environmental assessments and ensure compliance with local and national regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop strategies that protect the environment and foster sustainability. Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental impact assessments and sustainability projects.
  • Evaluate and report on the environmental aspects of proposed developments.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and environmental management.
  • Engage in community outreach and education regarding environmental issues.
  • Analyze data from field studies and present findings.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals for new projects and programs.
  • Stay updated on emerging environmental regulations and industry trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related discipline
  • Master's degree or higher is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, environmental assessments or sustainability projects
