As a Braider Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating braiding machines to produce high-quality braided products. Your role is crucial in monitoring production quality and ensuring machines are maintained in good working order.
Responsibilities
Adjust braiding machines for various product specifications.
Conduct routine checks to ensure machines are functioning correctly.
Implement safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
Provide feedback on production processes to engineering teams.
Facilitate effective communication within the production team.
Support inventory management by reporting stock levels.
Engage in team meetings to discuss production performance.
Utilize problem-solving skills to address production challenges.
Ensure timely completion of production targets.
Help develop training materials for new hires.
Requirements
Education
Grade 12 certificate
Technical certificate or diploma in textile manufacturing or a related field
Experience
2-3 years of experience operating braiding machines.
