Braider Setter

Job Description

As a Braider Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating braiding machines to produce high-quality braided products. Your role is crucial in monitoring production quality and ensuring machines are maintained in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Adjust braiding machines for various product specifications.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure machines are functioning correctly.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
• Provide feedback on production processes to engineering teams.
• Facilitate effective communication within the production team.
• Support inventory management by reporting stock levels.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production performance.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address production challenges.
• Ensure timely completion of production targets.
• Help develop training materials for new hires.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Technical certificate or diploma in textile manufacturing or a related field

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience operating braiding machines.

Languages
