Job Description

We are seeking skilled Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining marble machinery, ensuring that production deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines according to specifications.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production flows.
• Assist in training new hires on safe machinery operation.
• Implement new operational procedures as directed by management.
• Document and report any operational issues or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular assessments of machinery to maintain performance.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Technical Qualification in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing or construction

Technical Skills

• Good time-management
• Ability to work well under pressure

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Experience in the marble or stone processing industry: Familiarity with industry standards and operational needs.
• Forklift certification: Certification to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
