Glaze Handler

Job Description

The Glaze Handler will be responsible for the preparation and application of glazes to ceramic products. The ideal candidate will possess experience in glaze handling and must be capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Mix glazes according to established recipes and quality specifications.
• Apply various types of glazes using techniques such as spraying and dipping.
• Ensure that glaze application is even and free of defects.
• Record batch numbers and materials used for tracking purposes.
• Assist in troubleshooting glaze-related production issues.
• Work with the quality control team to meet product specifications.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Ceramics or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years in glaze handling, with a focus on ceramics manufacturing.

Technical Skills

• Experience with different glaze types
• Spray glazing techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Commitment to quality

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with quality control processes: Familiarity with techniques to ensure glaze quality.
• Knowledge of ceramic product regulations: Understand industry standards and regulations pertaining to ceramics.
