Job Description

As a Patternmaker, you will play a critical role in our design and production team, crafting precise patterns that define the fit and construction of our garments. Your expertise in both manual and digital pattern making will be essential in producing high-quality fashion items.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and refine existing patterns for production use.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure patterns are created efficiently.
• Evaluate the fit of samples and modify patterns accordingly.
• Ensure that all patterns adhere to the brand's quality standards.
• Assist in developing new pattern-making processes for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
• Degree in Fashion Design is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in pattern making

Technical Skills

• Manual Pattern Making
• CAD Software Proficiency
• Grading Techniques

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Pattern Making Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with draping techniques: Proficiency in draping fabrics to create patterns is a plus.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices in fashion: An understanding of sustainability in garment manufacturing is beneficial.
