Public Health Specialist

Job Description

As a key member of our Health Solutions team, the Public Health Specialist will focus on data analysis and research to support health initiatives. You’ll be responsible for identifying health trends and informing policy changes, ensuring that the community's needs are met with up-to-date information and innovative approaches.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based strategies to improve community health.
• Identify at-risk populations and tailor interventions accordingly.
• Foster partnerships with other health organizations and agencies.
• Participate in community health assessments and surveys.
• Develop strategic plans to address health disparities.
• Provide guidance on health policies and regulations.
• Mentor junior health staff and interns.
• Evaluate funding opportunities and prepare grant proposals.
• Organize community health fairs and outreach events.
• Support data collection and reporting efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Health Sciences
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in public health initiatives
