Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will play a vital role in our printing operations, responsible for feeding materials into printing presses and managing the quality control of finished products. Your attention to detail will ensure that every item meets our high standards before it is dispatched.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and calibration of printing machines.
  • Ensure that raw materials are fed into the machines correctly.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify and rectify any quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production staff to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols while operating equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily production and quality checks.
  • Support the team in achieving production targets.
  • Be proactive in offering improvements to processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is advantageous.
