We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will evaluate insurance applications and determine the appropriate coverage based on risk assessment. You will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the best service.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze various underwriting reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide mentorship to junior underwriters.
• Conduct training sessions on underwriting policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely communication with clients regarding underwriting statuses.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Professional underwriting qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting
