Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring efficient operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively support our users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support and escalation of issues to senior staff where necessary.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of new hardware and software solutions.
• Assist in maintaining network security measures.
• Participate in setup and deployment of new IT equipment.
• Document and track incidents to improve response times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service provision.

Requirements

Education

• IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Network+, Security+)

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
