We are currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Pharmacy Solutions Ltd. in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care, managing medication therapies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the appropriateness of prescriptions and provide recommendations.
• Engage in continuous professional education to stay current with industry trends.
• Manage pharmacy operations effectively to enhance service delivery.
• Oversee the training of new staff and interns.
• Conduct therapy management sessions with patients.
• Implement and oversee medication safety programs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for comprehensive patient care.
• Manage pharmacy budget and cost control measures.
• Advise on selection and procurement of pharmaceutical products.
• Develop patient education materials related to medications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy Administration is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
