Join our team as a Tax Specialist, where you will handle complex tax issues and provide tailored solutions to clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the South African tax landscape, allowing you to help clients navigate their tax obligations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review financial records for accuracy and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Provide ongoing tax compliance support to clients throughout the year.
• Assist clients with tax refund claims and credits.
• Create reports on the financial status of clients’ tax obligations.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to improve team knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or related field
• Honours degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Tax Law
• Audit Preparedness

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving Skills
• Client Management

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) is an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of transfer pricing: Understanding of transfer pricing regulations and compliance.
• Strong networking skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships within the tax community.
