Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will oversee various logistics operations, manage supply chain activities, and ensure efficient delivery processes. You will liaise with vendors, production teams, and other departments, ensuring that all logistics functions are executed efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an efficient logistics system and coordinate between departments.
  • Assess and enhance supplier performance through regular communication.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics activities and performance.
  • Implement cost-effective logistics solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to logistics.
  • Manage logistics-related documentation and record-keeping.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocktaking.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Management or Business Administration
  • Logistics certification preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Languages
