Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role will involve providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions to individuals facing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others along with a comprehensive knowledge of clinical practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose mental disorders using established psychological tests and methodologies.
  • Facilitate cognitive-behavioral therapy and other therapeutic techniques.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and make modifications as needed.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars on mental health awareness.
  • Collaborate with social workers and other mental health professionals.
  • Help create a supportive and empathetic environment for patients.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology is preferred
  • Registration with the HPCSA is mandatory
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical practice
