IT Support Technician

Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will be crucial in supporting our internal IT needs in Port Elizabeth. You will diagnose system issues, assist with software and hardware installation, and ensure the seamless operation of our technical resources to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Resolve help desk tickets via phone, email, and in-person.
• Provide training and support on new systems and technologies to staff.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and supplies.
• Participate in projects to enhance IT infrastructure.
• Support backup operations and data recovery as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or related role
