Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Health Solutions, you will assist in the preparation and dispensing of medication, manage inventory, and deliver excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compounding medications and preparing sterile products.

• Handle prescription transfers and refills efficiently.

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology is a strong advantage

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy is required

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems
• Compounding skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
